Your membership in the New Mexico Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (NMBio) is the first step toward a powerful Biotechnology & Biomedical Industry in New Mexico. NMBio is about creating critical mass for biotechnology and biomedicine in New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. Our mission is to bring together life science professionals so that our industry matures and thrives. Join us as we identify key issues, develop strategic relationships, and share business and technology transfer opportunities. We recognize that your greatest contribution to our industry is to effectively run your business: we respect any level of participation in NMBio events that contributes to your success.
There are several ways to become an NMBio member. Individuals may join directly for $60 annually. The individual membership application form is available here. Students may want to consider the NMBio Student Scholarship Program.
NMBio also offers institutional memberships according to the schedule provided here . NMBio also invites Sponsors. Institutional membership fees can be applied towards sponsorships.

Networking — NMBio members are resources. Meet people who have successfully raised capital, built businesses, and developed and commercialized products. Gain insights from those who successfully manufacture and market life science products and services. If you are starting or growing a life sciences company, NMBio can assist you in making New Mexico contacts.
Issues Advocacy — NMBio works to enhance biomedical and biotechnical success in New Mexico. We advocate improving business climate, infrastructure, and public image of biomedical R&D and industry activities.
Annual Membership & Industry Directory — Beginning in November of 2007, an online directory will be available to dues paying members. This directory will include a listing of all current members as well as all biotechnology and biomedical companies in New Mexico.
Biomedical Tuesday Luncheons — NMBio holds monthly association gatherings on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, generally in Albuquerque. Each meeting features an industry-relevant speaker. Members receive a discount for these luncheons.
Voting Rights — Members have the right to vote on matters concerning the future of the association including election of the Advisory Board.
Advisory Board & Officers — Members are eligible to hold seats on the Advisory Board or run for office in the association.
Volume Purchasing Discounts — NMBio offers volume purchasing discounts to members through our affiliation with the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), a national organization representing our industry. Visit BIO Business Solutions for specific information.
Biannual Networking Event — NMBio provides its members an annual evening networking event to allow members to meet and discuss key issues in their businesses and biosciences. Each year a key speaker is provided to discuss current industry issues or provide insight to the best industry practices.
