Between 2012 and the first quarter of 2021, Wefunder supported firms have raised $254 million from Wefunder investors. However, after their initial raise on the Wefunder platform, these firms raised more than $5 billion from other sources (primarily angel investors). Meow Wolf raised $1 million in 48 hours (a national record); it then raised $200 million from VCs. Currently, Albuquerque-based OptiPulse and EveryDay Contacts have active campaigns.
