News ItemNMBio and Southwest Biofuels Association (SWBA) Partner For The Future

January 12, 2012 –

New Mexico Biotechnology and Biomedical Association has partnered with the Southwest Biofuels Association to address mutual interests, and to focus on the growing field of biofuels.

New Mexico is strategically positioned to address our nation’s energy crisis by providing clean, domestic and renewable transportation fuels produced from biofuels feedstocks such as algae and third-generation crops by capitalizing on the region’s outstanding natural resource, exceptional scientific community, existing biofuels industry, infrastructure in agribusiness and fuel production and progressive economic and policy environment.

NMBio and the leaders from the Southwestern Biofuels Association (SWBA) have partnered under the NMBio banner to advance programs that can result in green jobs and clean energy that can be created by developing biofuels. We invite you to join us and become a member of NMBio to take part in the work of its biofuels committee.
