News ItemNMBio Welcomes Our New Executive Director
November 20, 2015 –
We ask you all to join the BOD in welcoming Greg Byrnes as NMBio’s new executive director. Greg comes to New Mexico from Pennsylvania bringing an extensive background in business and economic development, consulting, and journalism.
Among his many accomplishment in growing business organizations, he has lead the Philadelphia Developer’s Alliance in an initiative to attract new business for the city of Philadelphia which included raising funds and promoting the city to outside private and public agencies. Greg was also a consultant and VP of membership and business development for the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Association wherein he helped increase membership 20% while developing new sources of revenue for the members through recruitment of preferred service providers.
We are therefore delighted to have Greg on the NMBio team. He has committed to helping us increase our influence within the state, attract new members/sponsors, provide increased financial benefits to the membership, and showcase New Mexico both in the US and globally. Greg has an M.A. in International Relations from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, Monterey, CA, and a B.A. in Political Science, Stonehill College, North Easton, MA
Please feel free to contact Greg after the new year with any ideas or assistance in these challenging endeavors and we ask that you offer him your full support in achieving his goals. With his help, NMBio looks forward to a pivotal growth of our organization coupled with significant expansion and visibility of NM bioscience in 2016.
